Had my CBS interview almost two months ago. It was at an Alum’s office early in the morning (8 am). It was very casual and laid back. I started off talking about my education and career to date. Then I talked about my reasons for pursuing an MBA and why CBS in general. After that we spent the next 35 minutes in a Q&A format with me asking the alum about his experiences at Columbia and in his career thereafter. There were no leadership or what makes you unique questions. It was really a very relaxed conversation. He did ask my me about my GPA and GMAT score. Which he then stated were dead center of the class. And he also wanted to know how I liked my alma mater. After the interview he informed that he would be strongly recommending me to CBS and that he was happy to meet me.
