Dartmouth Tuck MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / Zoom

Interviewer was super friendly, but they will take more notes than other schools. My interviewer was awesome once we hit the “what questions do you have for me?” They have a rubric and they have to fill it out so be patient. I got all of the standard Tuck questions. Cornell Johnson MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Former Adcom / Virtual

Interview was mostly warm, with one caveat I will cover later. Tell me about yourself/walk me through resume. Why MBA? Why your chosen post-MBA path? Why Johnson/Ithaca? USC Marshall MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Zoom

The interview was very short (around 15 minutes). I was asked the following questions: 1. Where I’m joining the meeting from (warm up question) 2. Why MBA? 3. Short-term goals? 4. Why Marshall? 5. Chicago Booth MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Zoom

The interview was résumé-based and conducted by an alumnus. It was very conversational and not strictly structured. We started with a walkthrough of my background, followed by questions such as describing a time I had to make a tough decision, my biggest achievement, and a challenging experience. Nothing very surprising about this interview. I looked at published interview guides and forums to get an understanding of the types of questions that were asked in previous years and my interviewer did not stray far from what I had seen. I'm studying for the GRE right now, aiming for a ~320 score. I currently work in the airline industry working on commercial strategy and was accepted into a highly competitive rotational program coming out of undergrad. I'm hoping to get an MBA and pivot to MBB consulting, with the goal of eventually returning back to the aviation industry as an experienced leader. My geographical preference post-MBA is in the South. My target school list includes Duke Fuqua, Emory, Wharton, Ross, Kellogg, and HBS. I would appreciate some advice regarding the odds of attaining my target school list and how I should approach the upcoming application season.
